Rental property and wills

How is rental property handled after your death when you owe a mortgage?  The reason I ask is because I had taken our basic wills we had done ourselves from a template to a lawyer to draw up new ones that included our rental properties and other things.  He basically took our wills, changed a few words around and didn't mention the properties at all.  So how is that handled?  Would my adult sons just keep paying the mortgage and renting out, would they need to put it into their name?  Would we need to set up a Ladybird Deed now?

Does anyone have the wording I could put into our wills concerning this?

Thanks
