Prospective tenant with bankruptcy
What do you guys think about renting to people with bankruptcy on credit report? (just theoretically - want to see what the community standard is).
if I am not mistaken, an existing tenant who files for BK will not get an automatic stay (http://thismatter.com/money/credit/bankruptcy/bankruptcy-and-rent.htm)
But how 'bout those who had this (or are still in BK) who apply for your property?

I would not rent to someone with a recent bankruptcy. I might consider them if it has been a year or more and there income and other considerations indicate they are worth the risk.
