Help renters in distress

Hello my name is Bree. We are a family in desperate need of help and some good advice. Our family moved from Oklahoma to Colorado Littleton.  We live in a homeowners association neighborhood home and we are renters. We are not familiar with the laws here. We are having so many issues with our renters agent /landlord. Kind of a long story short... I started having water issues back in March of this year. And the leasing agent, agency has been refusing to fix anything and we had a water pipe break in our basement and this went on for 3 months. We had to finally call the city to have the water shut off . Then they finally came and fix the pipes. But there's a compiled list of tons of things that still need to be fixed in this house that has absolutely been ignored. Despite monthly frequently request through their website and directly with Agency on the phone, through text messages, and emails. Nothing has been done. I request the owner's information and was told 2 days later that the owner died. Now that is tragic circumstances. And I hope to God it's not true but I believe it's a lie. My mom was recently was hospitalized for a week. She was having chest pain, severe headaches, nosebleeds couldn't lift her arms, joint pain, breathing problems, and all kinds of allergy problems. My husband, son, and I have been waking up with severe headaches and nosebleeds, nausea, tired all the time despite good sleep , and joint pain. We recently found out there's mold growing all through the walls through the carpet. Don't know what to do in this situation. Would like to get out of my lease but was told by the leasing agency if I turn this in for maintenance we would have 3 days to move out because in our contract it states that it would be a hazard for us to live here. Also the first request when the pipes were leaking through the walls my landlord/ agency told me I should turn it into my insurance to have it fixed. I don't have homeowners insurance only renters. Furthermore we've been texted by the landlord around the 15th through the 30th every month"  when going to pay rent?". When it's not even the first yet. I feel like this is a form of harassment since we have never been late or said where we're going to be late. During the water problem...I was also threatened by the landlord to keep the water sprinkler system on the lawn no matter what and if I didn't she would send a maintenance guy over to turn my water on because the grass needed to stay green at all cost even though water was running through the walls. Please any help maybe even point us in the right direction on what we need to do to get out of the situation. If anybody knows the law or can point us in the right direction it would help us tremendously. I just want to get my family out of this sick environment and be done with this. Thank you for your time.

Mold is not a bacteria......its mold....its fungus....and the VAST majority of mold is harmless.

Your only solution is to break the lease and move. If its as bad as you describe, you wont change it....you wont change the PM company or the landlord. Document the hell out of everything..... what the issue is....when and how you contacted the PM/landlord...their response....write it all down....dates, times etc etc....take pictures and video. Break the lease, move out and be prepared for court if it gets that far.....

If the PM/landlord truly runs their properties like your describe, you won't "fix" them..... move out and get on with your life in a new and better place
