If I give a tenant a notice of non-renewal, and their lease ends, can I just change the locks since the lease is ended?

@Ray Harrell Look up in your landlord tenant section on what would create abandonment and what you must do with their belongings. Usually two weeks with no utilities, have not heard from them; call, email etc... for abandonment, Just be careful removing personal items; take lots of picture with time and date stamp. These great tenants will say that you stole some priceless artwork, diamonds! LOL

I've seen all kinds of different scenarios with roommates, separating/divorcing couples, people put in jail etc... AND they wanted thier stuff back

Sorry, you haven't met the right PM, there are alot of great ones out there. Alas, there are also a lot of bad ones too. Just like any form of business, there are good and bad people
