how to know the rent is right?
I have a new investment properties in TX. I have contracted a property management for renting. I do not know how much should I rent it? How to find the true average market rent?

Cau Phu I'd seek guidance from your property management company. Odds are they get paid a percentage of gross collected rents. So they should (in theory) have a desire to 1.) get to unit occupied, 2.) get it occupied quickly but at the best price, 3.) get it occupied by a quality tenant so their life is easier. Odds are those goals align with yours. You want it rented quick, at a solid price, and you want a tenant that isn't going to go MIA 6 months into the lease and destroy your kitchen cabinets.
