Owner occupant and the tennants

I have never invested "yet", but I am interested in buy and hold of multifamily rentals. How, as a first time Owner occupant, do you deal with the tenants knowing your their landlord and are living with them? If something were to happen, (you raise rent, you need to evict, etc.) how do tenants react? I really don't know that i will have all the money to invest in starting an LLC (I guess I haven't researched that much either.) I am still very new to the idea of REI so I really don't know much yet.

This is business, not social hour.  You can be friends personally but the lease is the lease and the rules are the rules. No flex, no bend, no favors no slack.  Know your lease and the state laws and set that expectation RIGHT UP FRONT. Everything in writing and never ever deviate.
