Cash for keys- rewarding bad behavior

I am really only writing this because more and more frequently I have seen this come up. And it practically grinds a nail in my nerves to reward tenants for bad behavior by offering them cash to leave. It undermines landlords and investors everywhere. It undermines good paying tenants who do what they are supposed to do. And it teaches people that if they behave extremely poorly, they can get paid for it. Why, oh why, oh why does anyone even consider this!! Screen well, keep as many bad ones away as you can and evict the rest and have collections chase them to their grave!
