I've been using the $10 off coupon for BP Pro members for 2+ years now and have had only a few minor complaints. However, I logged in today to put together a credit/background check for a group of 3 prospective tenants applying for an apartment together and now the $10 off coupon no longer works for each applicant and is only good for each application ($10 off instead of $30).
I called customer service which was completely useless and determined that the best quick solution was to submit each applicant separately which is a bit tedious. I'm sure others use this service so wanted to share this issue and the fact that it seems very unlikely to be fixed.
As such, I'm currently looking for a good alternative that can do credit/background checks for $25-$30 per tenant. Any suggestions are appreciated!

We've been using mysmartmove.com for a little while now.
I'm wondering how others make best use of it.
If we have an interested tenant, we send them an application link through mysmartmove. It takes their income info, and runs credit and criminal checks. This eliminates all paperwork applications. We make the tenant pay the $35 for the application per adult. This seems to weed out anyone who isn't serious, and doesn't have any money.
Then, if they fill it out, the website gives a suggested accept, decline. I review those recommendations, and will review the credit and criminal check. If I like what I see, I then ask for the paystubs to back up the income portion.
Does anyone have any tips or pointers beyond this?

We run background checks for $12 though Buildium, which is partnered with TransUnion. I guess it's cheaper for us because we pay for a huge software bundle. If you want to come on with us, leverage our bundle, send me a message. I want to make more investor friends, and back-office stuff can be done from anywhere. We pay for a large Buildium package because we also manage associations. So to add you is no big deal. Send me a message.
