Dealing with HOA/Property Management

Just rehabbed our first rental home.  The place was a wreck.  Trees engulfed the home.  Absolute eye sore for at least 2 years.  We found it, fixed it up, put a renter in the place. It looks 1,000 times better and the neighbors are very thankful that we picked up the property.   We just got a letter about the fence.  They say the fence can't be taller than 6 foot.  I didn't measure if it was 6 foot.  What if it is 6'1" or 6'2"?  What do I do?
