Do RE agents also help renters find rental properties with a professional landlord? 

I'm seeking to rent a home as I am FINALLY!! moving to Atlanta, GA from Long Island, NY. I'd like to rent a home simply because I no longer wish to live in a condominium complex which you can hear everyones' arguments and drama EVERYDAY. I'm seeking to find a professional landlord (meaning one with a good rap sheet) and was just wondering: 

If I contact a RE agent in the area I'm seeking to rent in, would they be able to help? Or better yet, HOW DO I FIND A VERY GOOD LANDLORD/PROPERTY TO RENT FROM
