Hello All

I have been having a hard time renting my home in Edmond, Oklahoma. The tenants vacated in Nov 2014 and so far there were no applications yet. House is in a great condition. Looking at the zip code i realized there are 71 homes on market which have a similar issue.

Could someone explain me why are we having this problem in Edmond, OK and also what can be done to get it rented fast?

Thanks!

Seetha

Price is often the issue.  If your property is the best deal in the area, and there are any possible tenants, it will rent faster than the others.  If yours is priced high vs. competition, it will be very difficult to rent.  Have you done a detailed examination of the market?

Have you been getting calls and showings?  What's the feedback from the showings?  Try asking folks who come see it "what else are you seeing out there?"
