Prorated Rent & FIrst Months Rent Question
My scenario goes like this... Tenant has been screened and lease agreement has been signed they are all set to go and now I need the first months rent only problem is the move in date is looking like it is going to be in the middle of the month.
Should I either just ask for the prorated rent to be due for the # of days they are occupying the property/unit for the remainder of the month before they move in or should I also ask for the next months / "First full months rent" to also be due before the keys get handed over?
Of course I am also asking for many other things before they move in but this question is just focusing on this portion of what's due before move-in day
Thank you to all that replay,
