Renewing Tenant Lease

Juanita Zavala
Posted

Out-of-state investor looking to raise rent on my properties in Melbourne and Cocoa. I am interested in referrals for forms to use as I am managing these properties myself.

Thanks!

Quote from @Juanita Zavala:

Any time you are looking for a form, go to your favorite internet search site and type in your state plus a description of the form.

Example: Florida lease renewal form

Viola! You'll get hundreds of examples, most of them free.

If you are just making a few minor changes, like new dates and a new rent rate, you can simply write that onto the existing agreement and have all parties sign.

Example: "Landlord and Tenant agree to extend this lease for an additional year with a new end date of 6/30/2024 and a new rent rate of $1,550.00 per month. All other terms remain the same."
