All,

With medical marijuana being legalized in my state I have some tenants that are smoking it inside the property do you believe that this can cause the same damage as smoking cigarettes inside a property do I need to add a new Clause to my new leases moving forward and have current tenants sign an addendum?  what is everybody's thoughts on this ?does anybody have any examples of a clause or addendum  that they can provide please ? Thanks

Quote from @Linda Thomas:

No smoking or vaping of any substance inside the rental or any outbuildings. If it's a multi-family property, smoking and vaping should be done at least ten feet from all windows and doors.

If they violate, charge them extra for the cleaning and repairs.
