Buying a rental across from elementary school

Hey everyone,

I am thinking about buying a rental across from an elementary school. It’s just an average elementary school in a normal working class area. I was wondering if anyone had any trouble not being able to get tenants. I believe it’s a good deal just don’t want to buy and not be able to attract tenants.

Some people don't like it, but it wouldn't bother me. Most people are working during the day, so when they get home...kids are gone from the school and you have no neighbours across the road.  Drive by just before school starts to see how bad traffic is.  Some schools have a lot of parents that drive to drop kids off instead of kids walking to school.
