Check local appliance stores. Ottawa is large enough you can check for a place that sells appliances with a dent or scratch that are otherwise fine. Most places will do drop off, install and removal of old appliances. If the old appliances are working, consider calling a local charity to see if someone needs them. They will pick them up.
