Do I need to follow up with the security deposit?

Hello,

I just mailed out my tenants security deposit (in full w interest blah blah blah) to their specified forwarding address via UPS and see it was delivered per “met customer”. I was wondering if I need to follow up w the ex tenant to confirm they have received the security deposit.

On a side note, Id like to avoid messaging this particular individual due to a pretty hairy falling out that was had…

I would not follow up.. When they cash the check. you will have confirmation they received it. Plus you already have ups tracking number.
