Check out CreditKarma.  It can help you monitor your score and it's free.

I'd also suggest checking your credit report for accuracy.  You are entitled to a free report every 12 months.  You can request one at AnnualCreditReport.com.  Fix any inaccuracies and delinquencies  you find.

If you have debt, try to pay more than the minimum payment - even a small amount can have an impact.

Don't close any credit card accounts - part of your score involves how much credit is available to you.   Pay them down  - ideally you only want to use 10-30% of the credit limit.

Just a few thoughts - Good Luck!
