Hey bigger pockets family, newbie here. I’m curious about how most of you keep your liquid cash. High interest savings/checking account? Money market account? The reason I’m asking is because I’m about to inherit about 60k and I’m not really ready to get into real estate just yet(still researching/learning). I’m also not dependent on the 60k,I just want to pretty much park the cash somewhere till I need it. I’m open to all suggestions including some passive investment suggestions. I want to Thank all of you in advance for taking the time out of your day to comment on my post !

an online bank will make sure the entire 60k is there when you need it and should give you 1.8% I believe Ally bank also has a no penalty 11 month CD which pays a bit more, the money just has to stay in there for a week for you to be able to close the entire account whenever you want.  Other investments will either be not liquid or run the risk of losing the principle in the short term.
