Please take a look at current mortgage scenarios provided by mortgage banker.

Plan: To start my REI career using BRRRR Strategy.

Questions:

1. Do you think IHDA will work good for my situation ?

2. Will it be a good decision to refinance the property after 5 years ?

3. Can anyone suggest me a better alternative ?

I did my first house hack with an IHDA.  I bought a fully rehabbed (no additional work needed) single family below market in an up and coming middle class neighborhood. The benefit for me is that I have really freed up my budget and am positioning myself to flip at least 2 properties this year.  In addition, I plan on renting out my IHDA property.  Current rents in my area for my sq footage is $450 above what my mortgage is. By the time I rent, it'll probably be a little higher.  So house hacking in my case has been a good move.  The lender that I hired is and award winning IDHA administrator.  Let me know if you're interested in his contact info.
