Anyone making money from Credit Repair?

Question

Hi all,

Is anyone making money by doing credit repair for clients or referring them to a company?

If doing it yourself, what do you charge and how do you insure success?

As far as referring...I'm thinking something along the lines of an affiliate program or even a network marketing company.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I actually help my family & friends and some acquaintances fix blemishes off their credit. It's tedious and I enjoy fighting the companies. I get things off within 2- 4 months gradually.

Being an attorney unfortunately doesn't matter much in the credit repair business.  You can't use the legal route, you have to hire somebody that understands the game of the credit bureau's themselves.

If you don't want to pay for a premium service then just do a search online and those dispute letters will be fine and best of all they are free.

If you have a budget and want it done as good as any i've seen, private message me and I can refer somebody to you.  I will not give his info publicly since he is a 1 man show....

As far as companies that do it for people, I would search for an attorney owned and operated establishment if I were you.

Aside from that, there are a couple of great do it yourself guides available.  Perhaps you should check one out, and maybe sign up as an affiliate.

I refer both, and let the prospect decide if they want to do it themselves, or have an attorney owned organization handle it.

Could you please elaborate on e-oscar and why it is illegal along with what some are doing as far as photo shopping etc.

If it's not your typical credit repair just becareful.  A lot of people are using a system called e-oscar.  Totally illegal.

Remember, when a company sends out letters, they are doing it on YOUR behalf.  So if they are photo shopping or cut and pasting then guess what, it's on you.

there is absolutely nothing that a 'credit repair company' can do that a consumer cannot do themselves.....major waste of $$$ in my book!
