Looking for a Partner , Job , Advice ??

Posted

I recently moved to the Triad area (Winston Salem) North Carolina at the beginning of the year for a new job. Here it is , April, and I no longer work there. Lets just say , it wasn't a good fit. The role was like a project manager for an investment company with mobile home parks. My plan was to work a full time job and invest in RE on the side. I have a few rental properties back in Ohio, and found out it is easier for me to refinance with a W2 job.

I had another meeting with myself to determine if I need to continue on with my plan (replace the job) or head a different direction. I guess I was thinking I would just buy from an auction, if I was investing by myself. Whenever the auctions come back around... I enjoy some parts of the RE business , and don't enjoy some. I was thinking if I found a partner or team that could handle the acquisition and closings. I could manage the rehab and exit strategy. Maybe mastermind the rest and split the cost of business. As long as there was a way to get a small salary ($ for bills) from this type of partnership venture.

Just would like to hear from somebody else in the BP community of their thoughts. Thank you.
