Do not under estimate your surroundings. I have been looking for private lending but because I work a primary job I rarely talk to frineds and family about my real estate ventures. This past week I was talking to my friends father and learned that he was actually a private lender in general, he gave out personal loans for pretty much any things as long as there is some sort of collateral involved.
He gain the income to do this from guess what? real estate! I never would have expected him to be a source since he is far from flashy. But after a conversation I learned he had several rental properties and silent partnerships in several small business in the area. BP is a great source and I am more that sure you can generate some interest but do not over look the people around you.
