Looking for a Private Lender

I am an investor in Virginia Beach market looking to get in touch with a private lender! Does anybody know someone I could reach out to that would be interested or have any recommendations on what action I should take if I dont find one? I thought about hard money, but the terms are too short... looking for a pay-off time line of 2-5 years.
