Commercial closing slow And unresponsive lawyer
Hi BP, I signed a sale contract over 2 months ago for some commercial land. The due diligence period has passed and after having to reduce price to keep buyer from breaking contract, my attorney is taking forever to even get back to me on a simple question like " what's your schedule look like for a closing?" . The contract says closing shall be "on or about 30 days" after due diligence is Ok'd which was Nov 1.
Can a closing really happen from one day to the next?
