permits needed for building a fence
We are in the process of fixing up a Baltimore area townhouse. We would like to fence in the backyard but we have run in to permitting problems. Our fence contractor says that they cannot pull the permit with out a land plat. I did not receive one at closing and the one I obtained from the city office for $15 was a plat that included multiple properties. Unfortunately, the contractor states that we need an individual plat. A website that i visited called "exacta" wants to do a boundary survey and charge me $900. Does anyone know another way to get a property plat?
Thanks,
