Rental Properties Investor Newbie

Gloria Kotani
Posted

I am an investment newbie and I partnered with a relative (LLC) on Rental Properties who only pays the interest of the loan then use the BRRRR method. We purchase properties where I give 30% - 50% of the purchase price of the property then I receive a fixed amount of rental income. When the properties are sold; do I get 30% - 50% of the sale or do I get back all the money I invested on the property? For tax purposes, how do I report the income?
