Financing on a Vacant Multiuse Building
I am going into contract on a vacant multiuse building. The residential units should cover the basic expenses leaving the office space downstairs as my upside. I planned on a cash closing, but I'm looking for financing. I've got a few questions 1) Can I find a lender who would finance a vacant building using my personal income? 2) Should I close and renovate before financing, assuming I have the resources. 3) Assuming again that finding a commercial tenant will take a while, should I at least wait until filling up the residential tenants?
Thanks
Sol
