Any advice on where and how to start due diligence?

I'm in Nc outside Charlotte.

     FInd people here on BP that are searching for money and see if it fits your criteria then lend. Another option is to go on a site like propstream and see who the cash buyers have been in the area and reach out to them to see if they are looking for $. 

    For DD, I recommend go take a MLO course and learn how to underwrite deals from a lending side. Lending is all about risk and what is the borrowers ability to pay you back. So leave no stone unturned.
