Any Pimlico Capital reviews for hard money lending?

I noticed this thread when I was looking into Pimlico Capital.

I have not closed any loans with them just yet, but I am actually in middle of dealing with them now and they are very clear and helpful. They helped me out with a LTR loan ( I ended up going with a different lender who offered me something a drop of better rate, and now Im in middle of discussing with them their Fix n Flip loans.

I see on google they have 99 reviews and all 99 are 5 stars- I know we cant base due diligence on that but if there are absolute no reviews lees then 5 stars, I think that says something about them

@Alex Bekeza As an employee of the company I disagree. Feel free to check out our reviews on Google. Would you like some references from borrowers or title companies as well? Bigger Pockets is not the only way to check and see if a lender is credible. Sorry that we don't have reviews on Bigger Pockets to satisfy you! I guess people can just say they want with no accountability or even fact checking!

@Chad Davis Google reviews are great too. Your shop looks like it has a great track record.  My comment was more general and not directed at any particular company.  I should have done a google before a short hand reply.  In general, the reason I personally like BP references is because they link directly to the borrower's profile and may give reader's some extra information into who they are, what type of investments they do, etc.  I suppose my comment would be broadened to include google reviews, bigger pockets references, or solid word of mouth referrals from people you trust. No disrespect was meant on my end.

If they don't have bona fide reviews on bigger pockets I'd stay clear.  You can see a lender's references on their profile page.

Just to clarify, when you say private money are you looking for hard money? Hard money is more intitutionalized, private money is more people you have established relationships with.
