Rates/Down Payment for a Duplex in Florida
I'm looking to buy a duplex currently in St Petersburg Florida. The price is 150 k. I'd like to be able to put down 10 or 15% but I am finding that it is a little more difficult to buy a duplex than it is to buy a single family residence. Anybody have any insight as to where I should be looking to get the best rates and lowest down payment? The local credit unions have told me they need at least 20% down and rates are like 5.8 or 5.9%. Thanks in advance for any assistance!
