I have just moved from Louisiana to North Carolina. I’m looking to get started in investing real estate. I have very little money to start with so would it be better to do fix and flip to get up my capital. Or try to finance house that needs work and fix and keep.
Also is there any investors on here that are in North Carolina.
I also am in the Triad area (Burlington) and have been in the area for 6 years. I am interested in Fix n Flip and BRRRR. Really wanting to land a Duplex to fix and hold. So far I've bought and sold 1 house for profit and am now in my second. I've completely renovated my current house and am debating selling now while the getting is GREAT. However, great deals are hard to find right now. Open to partnering, sharing ideas, networking etc...
@Dillon Himber That's great. Investing in RE is a lot of fun and can be very profitable. NC can be a great state for flipping so that would be my recommendation. What city are you looking at?
It’s complicated for where I live. My work places me in a hotel so currently in rock hill sc. but i want to move my family to the Winston Salem area. I drive there every weekend to look at houses
That’s great to know. Cause that’s the area I have been focusing on and want to move my family too. I have been just searching realtor and Zillow. It’s kind of overwhelming little because I just not sure where to start

@Dillon Himber My company sees a good amount of flips in the Winston Salem area so it is certainly a good option. We see even more, though, in Charlotte and it's surrounding cities and I believe that would be a little bit closer to home for you. Have you looked into Charlotte properties?
