How do Agents and Investors benefit from each other?

Hello, Bigger Pockets Members.

I am a new investor and I am working on my first wholesale deal. I have many acquaintances that I've known growing up who are agents and I have always wondered...

How exactly do Agents and Investors benefit from each other? I have been curious as to how they can help each other and benefit.

I know agents can use the MLS but me as an investor I feel as if I can't really offer something like that. I of course have some skills I could offer such as developing websites and marketing because I am a Web Developer but aside from that how does an investor help an agent and vice versa?

Thank you for reading this.

Kindest Regards,

Harley Tigreros.
