"No Downside Risk"

I consistently see posts on BP and elsewhere that claim an investment has "no downside risk." Alternatively, the ads claim "no market" risk or some variant thereof.

Am I the only person that thinks this is complete rubbish? How can anything that involves exchanging dollars for an opportunity involve no downside risk? I chuckle when I see these ads and wonder if the poster really thinks this is accurate.

Thoughts? Is this just an advertising thing?
