Asking a realtor for people to vouch for him/her

I'm new to REI so I apologize if this is bad etiquette, but I just went through the pre-approval process as it relates to mortgages. I now plan on reaching out to realtors that are investor-savvy for help in finding some potential rental properties. Is it a fair question to ask them for contact information or reviews from previous real estate investors they've helped?
