Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

hello all,

I recently found a property I want to purse, but after doing my due diligence I noticed that the owner recently filled for chapter 7 bankruptcy.  He is 3 years behind on property taxes and just recently lost a business. My question is can I still get the house with the chapter 7 bankruptcy? I look forward to hearing from everyone
