Investing in the Rust Belt

This is an interesting article about the influx of investors to the rust belt from previously popular markets like Atlanta and Phoenix. I'm working on my first deal in Akron, Ohio and have noticed a lot of activity by investors in the area.
What do you see as additional implications of low percentages of owner occupied sales?

Hi Kayla,
I have to agree with Chris here. but one thing that is very important to address is price change. once investors are coming to the market like we see in Ohio, there is a surge in the house pricing.
take a look on this data and see at the changes of prices during the last two years in Ohio. the main reason for my opinion is the penetration of big institutional firms that buys everything they can put their hand on.
best of luck.
