Self Dealing Question

I have lots of questions about IRA real estate investing I would like to know. Especially the self-dealing IRS rules. Do you know that if one buys 1/2 of a property in their IRA and gets a real low rent lease from the other owner for the 1/2 of the year the IRA does not own, would that be considered self dealing.
