Best markets to buy Small Multi-families

Hello all! Just would to some ideas on what are the hottest or best markets to buy 2-4 family units in right now? I am in NYC and it is hard to invest in those types of properties here without having a decent chunk of change.

@Eric DeVito your best move is to stick to the market you know best, NYC.  There's a great post that @Llewelyn A. just wrote about those investing in the NYC area and our rents (and appreciation) vs. other areas of the country which is so good and well written all I need to do is point you to it and you can read it for yourself.
