Is anyone able to recommend an accountant in the Richmond VA area specializing in real estate? Or have any recommendations on the best way of going about finding one? Thanks in advance.

Most of what you are going to want an accountant for will be related to Federal taxes. I would recommend against only looking in your immediate area. You should be looking for RE-specialization, not necessarily geographical location.

My 2 favorite BP accountants are @Linda Weygant and @Brandon Hall. Again, not near you, but you are looking for federal RE expertise, not VA expertise.
