Confidentiality and Buyer Registration Agreement
I've recently been talking with a real estate agent that has an apartment complex listed. The apartment complex is in the same city all of my other properties are in and I found it on the agent's company website. The listing on the website provided zero information as to property details, price, etc. I then requested information on the property by emailing the agent. I was the emailed a confidentiality and buyer registration agreement, that stipulated that no other agent representing me would receive commission, at the time I agreed to it, because I planned on using the listing agent. Since then, the listing agent has been no help, he rarely emails me back and doesn't return phone calls. I want to get my own realtor involved that will actually work for me. But I'm concerned the confidentiality and buyer registration agreement that I agreed to will cause problems getting another realtor involved.
Does anyone have any advice or experience with a situation similar to this?
