How do I look up the owner info of a vacant property?

I need to locate the owner of a burned down vacant property.  I've went to the court house and searched the address.  The issue is:  The court records states that its a single family residence.  The building is an Apartment so are the surrounding buildings.  Any ideas on how to contact the owner?
