I'll kick off the obligatory "what are you going to do better" post for 2015 . . . so, how are you planning on making this year a more successful one than last year?

I have set for myself 200 million in commercial real estate transactions and 5 million commission.

Buy 2 to 3 strip centers this year from mailing to property owners. I think 2015 will be a huge year for transactions. I want to snowball that into very large recurring cash flow for myself through hands off commercial investments.

Also looking at possibly doing a fund for retail for investors to buy into who do not want anything more than a monetary and return involvement.

My goals are really big but even if I get halfway there I will consider it a win. In martial arts we are not allowed to set goals that are too easy and we know we can reach. People avoid disappointment that way by being SAFE but they also LIMIT themselves by not seeing what is truly possibly to achieve.

It's not a fail to not do 5 million in commission and hit 2.5 then to set a goal for 1 million and hit that mark 100%.

As a new comer on the scene of Real Estate Investing my plan is to learn as much as possible and get as knowledgeable as I can.  By the end of 2015 I am hoping that I will have the knowledge to keep me focus and ready to buy my first piece of property

Honestly I am a little depressed as I did my yearly planning.  I burnt a lot of calories in 2014 and only closed one deal and it is a build-out and won't be cashflowing for several months. I didn't increase my cashflow at all.  Did increase my net worth some, saved 15% earned income and all passive income and invested it all (in deal mentioned).   My targets were too high and had a lot of rejected offers.  Still I learned a lot.  Next year is mostly about re-positioning and focusing efforts.

    1. I plan to turn four-plex into condos

    2. Clear up access issues on piece of vacant land then ... tbd

    3. Make a solid run at syndication

the rest of my 2015 goals relate to health, family and fun

Actually doing our first deal would be a good start. ?  I'm not being flippant with that comment, the current Reno market is not friendly to new investors due to a shortage of homes and the difficulty in obtaining the funds to do deals with.

It'll happen, sooner rather than later would be nice.

Primary goal is to focus on operating and growing our business so I can transition to RE full-time. In order to do this, I need to add multiple streams of revenue through RE and increase passive income to rival current salary.

The biggest step I am taking to achieve this is optimizing existing relationships and building new ones. Along with dedicating time each day to grow our real estate business.

Taking the knowledge I`ve learned and put it into action. I stopped reading before analysis paralysis set in. On a serious note, just learning will not find or close a deal. The first seller I talked with was cussing, loud and gruff sounding. He was`nt mad its just how he is. Thank goodness too, cause I went completely off my mental script I had practiced. I just talked with him like a good ole boy. He sure made it easy to break the ice with on calling back a seller though. LOL

    In 2015 I will

    - double my income from last year

    - use the advice and accountability of my mentors & colleagues to avoid shiny objects and stay focused on my goals and business plan

    - start reintroducing "social" into my life and not be consumed by work (that includes taking real vacations)

    - continue to grow my business(es) in ways that will allow me to step out of them but still be sustained by them so I can achieve my long-term lifestyle goals

    - oh yeah, and kick some major ***!

I would like to add another one to two properties to my portfolio to bring my total unit count to 10.  With the additional units, I am aiming for $1,100/month cash flow.

I'm new to too all this so I plan on one, get better analyzing properties.  Figuring out what I want exactly out of a rental and to who I want to market it too.  Also, to follow though with that and purchase my first rental this year!

I would like to complete 10 flips, purchase 10 rentals, assist 10 investors in purchasing investment properties, increase my cash flow by $10000/month, increase my net worth by $250,000.  Start my own marketing campaign so I can wholesale properties as needed.  And if I'm really ambitious buy 1 commercial property by December 31, 2015.

No plan, but just start taking actions.

1, participate in tax deed auction.

2, put idle funding to work, 1st deed lending.

3, read more RE and business books.

4, be more outgoing and start networking.

5, think positive and stay focus.

Continue to build momentum and makes more offers month after month.  Continue to out hustle and out think the competition.  Smile more this year than my past 28 combined.  If I'm succeeding, I'm smiling.

I started planning back in October of 2014 for what we're going to do in 2015. Here they are:

    • Increase our volume of houses acquired from 3 houses/mo to at least 6 houses/mo
    • Get all of my staff to earn six figure wholesale profits
    • Ramp up our private lending business to do low six figures in profit
    • Launch a non-profit that will help 100 people in foreclosure get back on their feet financially so they can afford to save and keep their homes
    • Start coaching more people how to become DILIGENT wholesalers (but do so in such a way that it will not consume too much of my time)

I plan on getting more involved with BP including listening to the podcasts daily and spending time in the forums daily. I also plan on finding a local REI group to join. My goal is to purchase at least two properties in 2015.

I am going to utilize as much free advertising as I can for my company, whether it be via social media posts, blogs, etc. Our budget hasn't been released for 2015 but I found we wasted a good deal of $ on ads that did not turn into serious inquires. The more organic SEO we can get, the better our overall numbers will be and we won't have to utilize PPC ads.

My plan is to not let fear guide my decision making. Most importantly to make a decision wether it be the right one or the wrong one. Any mistakes I make will be learning experiences that allow me to be a better investor.

Excited for 2015. Got involved in learning about REI at the end of 2014.

    I'm going to accomplish...

    - Close my first deal

    - Practice daily habits that will move my investing forward

    - Write my goals down and review them

    - Be more involved on BP Forum

Best wishes to the BP community on everyone's goals!

This is cool I can't wait to check these out in December!

    1. Live 2 months Abroad :  ) Get Some Muay Thai Training and Beach Time in

    2. Add 2,000/passive cash flow per month to my rental business.

    3. Market more than I ever have 5,000 -15,000 mailers per month.

    4. Make $500,000 Net This Year through Wholesale and Rehab deals in Austin and Houston.

    5. Be happier than I have been any other year of my life!

Best of luck to all of you guys in 2015! Write your goals down somewhere and read them at least once a day when you wake up.  If you can, read them in the morning and then before bed again, when I started doing that my investing completely changed.  Happy 2015!
