Whats up BP,

I am new to the site and real estate. Looking to purchase my first rental property and would like some advice on the steps to be taken. I have a friend in California that walked me through my FHA loan approval(for California). I have since thought I might want to have my first property in my home state(Maryland). Anyone know where I should start in terms of where to get my loan, what site to do searches for properties, and the first steps to take? Layman's terms welcomed.

Thanks in advance!
