Don't know what to do with an inherited property.

Hello all,

I inherited a house in Phoenix last October. It's worth about $350,000 and no liens.

I was thinking about making it a midterm rental or a short-term rental but it would require quite a bit of work and would require getting a home equity loan.

Also considering selling and buying a turnkey str.

I do plan on leaving the country and I'm not sure where I'll end up.

Would love to hear the pros and cons from all you professionals.

Thank you,

Cyndi

Hi Cyndi, I'm an investor and agent myself in Phoenix.

I think it really depends on where the home is at, the condition, etc that may help you make the right decision. I would be happy to get on a call and talk through the options that you have.

My business partner and I actually own a portfolio of STR's in the area, so if you wanted some insight on that business I'm happy to share as well!
