Tips for Newbies - become a Realtor

I guess this is two-fer Tuesdays on the tips.

Tip - Just go ahead and become a Realtor.

I was at the brokerage office today, not even doing Realtor work, working on my income taxes. Went to the printer to pick up some papers and another Realtor was there picking up his papers. I noticed that his papers were MLS print-outs for some foreclosures in the area (I had been to look at one of them myself earlier today). Anyway, got to talking with him and he was showing them to a local investor who is looking for rental properties. I told him about one of mine that I own that I want to sell (not even listed yet) and gave him the address. I got off the phone with him just 5 minutes ago and his buyers like my property. Networking - a free added bonus to being a Realtor.
