Hotel Room Investment
Hello Bigger Pockets Community
I have a question regarding Hotel Room Investing. I understand certain hotels allow investors to buy a hotel room and lease it back to the hotel which will then book guests for you (ie. short term rentals). This is typically how hotel rooms generate cashflow for the owners. My question is can you leverage the equity in hotel room investments with home equity loans etc? Also, do hotel rooms come with the same tax benefits as other property types such as single-family homes (ie. depreciation)? Thank you
