Investing in Condo Hotels

I’m curious about condo hotel opportunities, and I’m wondering if anyone has any experience investing in these properties they would be willing to share.  What are the upsides and downsides you’ve come across in this property class compared to more traditional long-term investment properties? What is a typical management fee?
