Using VA’s in Your Business!
Morning BP!
This mornin’ I wanted to dive into opening the first conversation around using virtual assistants for your real estate business!!
Using VA's are an ABSOLUTE gamechanger when you start to implement them into your business. I have used a video editor for the podcast for well over a year now to do most of the backend post production and have not looked back. I have also hired a VA to help with marketing & very minimal back end operations for a meetup I was hosting a few months back but pivoted in a different direction.
My go-to website of choice for hiring VA's is called "onlinejobs.ph." The way I describe it to people is essentially it is like indeed(.)com or another job searching site, but it is solely between the Phillipenes and America. You can list jobs on there by catagory, and there is a very wide amount of options to be able to include in your job listing. Many folks then will inquire about the jobs, and I highly recommend adding very small but specific directions to them, like sending you a message with the subject line "the sky is blue". Doing this, you will be able to quickly look through your messages and see who followed your small instruction, and who is just spamming every job application they can and hoping to get lucky. Afterward, I highly recommend creating a small "sample project" to send to these folks based around the tasks that you want them to do in your business, and let them run with it and see what they come up with.
From there, have a Zoom/Skype interview and get to know each other and feel each other out to see if it could potentially be a good fit.
You then are encouraged to take the relationship off of the onlinejobs platform to just emailing/texting with them etc. because it does cost $70 to list 3 jobs, but WELL worth it lol. You basically list your jobs, find your VA, and cancel the membership because there is no reason to keep it active unless you are looking to hire more folks.
There are a lot more tips I want to share but this post is VERY long already lol. I will as time goes on lol. Keep in mind this is just my opinion, and there are VA companies directly that you can go to, to hire trained VA's to do cold calling and lead gen as well. I haven't toyed with one of them yet, but definitely will in the future :)
What has your experience been working with virtual assistants overseas?
