Are Investors still buying in DFW?

Is DFW still a great area for investors? I literally get asked this question almost every day. Last year nearly 40% of homes purchased in the DFW area were purchased by out of state investors. It looks like the DFW market is going to continue to have strong demand for the foreseeable future. This is for a number of reasons. Mostly due to the never-ending corporate relocations to the area. The construction has never kept up with the population growth and the move-ins continue. Keep in mind the DFW market doesn't have the number of small plex properties (2-4 units) other markets have, so expect to do a lot more SFH. So, Yes Yes Yes even in this market investors are still buying. We're currently assisting and out of state investor that purchased 15 homes in Texas last year and plans to purchase at least that many in 2023. Wish all my investor friends a great 2023!

It is very simple - If you find a deal that makes sense and you will cash flow on it, buy it. If not, keep looking. They are out there in any market cycle in almost all markets.
